Richard Nunez is a Dutchess County resident since 1982. Graduating from Pace University School of Law in 2001 he opened a single attorney law practice in 2002, Liberty Hall Family PLLC. The firm remains a solo practice. The firm specializes in family law and matrimonial law.
While at Pace Law School, Rick Nunez was research assistant for Prof. Merril Sobie who is the primary author for the McKinney Series of New York Law Digests on Family and Divorce Law. Rick Nunez also worked with Prof. Sobie on New York’s interstate custody laws.
Prior to practicing as an attorney, Rick Nunez studied at Kenyon College worked on a Masters in Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia at Charlottesville, and a Masters in Business Administration at Marist. After graduate school, Rick Nunez worked as an analyst and broker in commodity futures, mostly for producers and consumers of raw materials and as a banker specializing in community development and regulatory compliance.
